Inventory and volume

Bedrooms are a useful starting point, but two homes of the same size can contain very different volumes. Garages, sheds, outdoor furniture, books, gym equipment and large appliances materially affect vehicle space and handling time.

Access and walking distance

Stairs, unsuitable lifts, steep driveways, basement clearance, narrow hallways and long carries between the vehicle and door can increase time and change the equipment or crew required.

Travel and scheduling

The route between properties is only part of the travel requirement. Vehicle mobilisation, traffic, tolls, refuelling, return travel and weekend labour costs can also affect a sustainable price.

Preparation

Properly packed and labelled cartons, dismantled furniture and cleared pathways generally make a move easier to scope. Loose items, unfinished packing and undisclosed disassembly can create delays.

Heavy or specialist items

Pianos, safes, pool tables, stone, large commercial equipment and items requiring hoists need specialist assessment. Ironbark does not plan to accept work outside its equipment, insurance or competence.

Why no price is shown yet: Ironbark is validating truck, labour, insurance and operating costs before publishing a rate that it can genuinely deliver.
